What is a UGI?
UGI in medication usually refers to "Upper Gastro-Intestinal" and is usually used as in a UGI series, where on earth the upper G-I tract is examined, usually through using a contrasting material that can be seeing by diagnostic imaging equipment to diagnose complications surrounded by the upper gastrointestinal tract.
UGI stands for Upper Gastro Intestinal. Ex: Stomach, esophagus, etc.
there is no medical acronym that applies. It may be intended as Upper Gastrointestinal Infection, or upper gastrointestinal imaging, or as an upper gastrointestinal examination, but it is not a widely customary acronym.
